Lupus is difficult to differentiate from arthritis. The symptoms in lupus are very similar to the symptoms of arthritis or rheumatic diseases.
Symptoms of lupus are different in every being and start very slowly depending on the part of the body which gets affected first. Different symptoms are:

You should take good care of our diet in order to treat lupus. You should eat a healthy diet that supplements all the nutrients required for the body. Intake of salt should be reduced. Fruits and vegetables should be added to the diet. Excessive intake of sugar is also bad because it only increases the intake of calories and does not help in nutrition. Alcohol is also very bad since it has a negative effect on the medications taken for lupus.
It is advised that you should see a doctor if you have rashes on your skin or if you get tired very soon or if you have fever continuously for some days and feel very low.
